Description

Motul DOT5.1 is 100% synthetic. Designed for use in ABS braking systems where DOT5.1 is required and for use in vehicles operating under normal daily braking duties (Light to medium duty braking conditions). Motul DOT5.1 will provide a significant improvement to braking systems that previously had DOT3 or DOT4 fluids.
Appreciated mostly by drivers & riders for the consistent brake feel/feedback and by those who enjoy the confidence in braking performance. Suitable for moderate duty off-roading or towing. Those who require additional performance use Motul RBF600 or Motul RBF660. (All Motul brake fluids are 100% synthetic and cross compatible.)

NOTE: DOT 5.1 fluid bases are compatible with DOT 3 and DOT 4 fluid bases. Ensure the braking system is completely flushed of old or lower spec fluid before using new or higher spec fluid.
DO NOT USE DOT5.0, this is a silicone based fluid for USA makes such as Harley and Humvee.

Dry boiling point: 272° C
Wet boiling point: 185° C
